It's not the sellers fault. The NICS system is flawed we know this, or at least you should know that and what "they" decide is the final say. I hope this helps new and veteran gun owners understand some decisions the system gives. Ultimately it's up to YOU to be a law abiding citizen and keep yourself out of trouble.
