I use leather for my micro compact P365 and even though its not reinforced it still is stiff enough to stay open for reholstering. Mine has a canted clip and its very comfortable.

I am looking into a Versacarry compound for both of my sub compacts Bersa TPR9C and Taurus G2c that has Kydex sandwiched inside the leather to keep the holster open for reholstering. A little more than straight leather but probably going with this.
