Shimming The AR for Precision Fit

In this video I discuss the proper way to achieve that precise fit of the AR upper and lower receiver. While the accu-wedge is just a hunk of plastic jammed into the tang cut out of the lower, it still does not provide the utmost precision. Upper tension set screws are great, but many receivers still have lateral play. To remove the lateral play, shims are inserted over the take down pins.
