We caught up with Ashley Hlebinsky, Head Curator of the Cody Firearms Museum / Master of Arms Judge at SHOT Show 2019.
Ashley Hlebinsky is the Robert W. Woodruff Curator of the Cody Firearms Museum at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. Hlebinsky is the first female firearm curator at the most prestigious firearms museum in the United States. She hails from the East Coast, where she received her Master's Degree in American history "“ studying the perception of firearms in culture. After three years at the Smithsonian Institution's National Firearms Collection, she moved to Cody, WY.
In addition to her duties as curator, Hlebinsky is a firearms consultant (for both museums and firearms manufacturers), freelance writer, NRA Certified firearms instructor, international lecturer, and on-camera firearms historian. In 2017, she was awarded the prestigious NSSF/POMA Grits Gresham Shooting Sports Communicator of the Year Award.
In 2018, Ashley joined a panel of celebrity judges for the Discovery Channel competition series, "Master of Arms".
