Smokepole Build Part 6: Stock, Brass and Sawdust!

In part 6 I will final sand the stock removing the swirls left by the DA sander. Additionally I will show you how to polish brass and I will apply the stain. We will not apply the varnish and BL Oil in this video.

Here are some helpful links for materials. Unfortunately, I was not able to acquire the supplies I have used in the past for staining stocks. Beech, walnut and other exotic hardwoods need good stains and a varnish used for a sealer will deliver unexpected performance.
