Springfield Armory 911 Disassembly Warning

Played with the slide stop spring and worked the action manually in my living room about 500 times. Went to the range today and ran 100 rounds of WWB through it with zero malfunctions. Sweetest shooting small pistol I've ever shot. I did double taps at 4 yards, then Bill Drills at 3 yards. Performs as well as any handgun in my collection on those drills. Shot six rounds at 25 yards unsupported. About a six-inch group. I'm impressed, to say the least. Even if I have to fuss with it to get it to run, it's still one damned fine pistol.

I just bought one of these yesterday, having the same problem. Also, my slide stop randomly engages when working the slide, even without a magazine inserted.
